The Year Ahead, Making Plans

I thought I might pop in for a Little Christmas catch up. Sorry for the prolonged absence. No matter what research I can do, the old blog, all its links etc. are gone from me. I have pondered and fussed, but I am going to keep trying. A decision that needed to be addressed.

With the New Year approaching, and so many ideas swirling in my head, I have decided that I don't need to be super agile to do what I want to do. If I schedule myself, like I used to do, I can be more productive. Of course, this has always been an issue for me. If someone visits, I push my precious time aside. If I am needed, for whatever, I tend to push my time to the side. Ya-da, ya-da! So, let me try this again. I miss the structure of blogging, and it is good for me. Most likely I will go for the weekly newsletter type of format, please remember that I am starting all over.....again.

I am getting ready to move the plants away from this window. They are starting to intrude a bit as a group, so some will be moved to bedrooms, bathroom, or even to the laundry room window where everything grows like crazy!

The two Polish Pottery angels are precious gifts from a dear friend. More like family than friend, she knows me. We share ideas and passions. The coffee grinder was made by my late FIL. It works too. The clock was a "gift" with purchase from a Cosmetic merchant back in the 1990s. Most of that collection was passed on to a church flea market last Summer.

My bread is done and I have a delivery to make before it cools. I hope to have a regular posing schedule beginning in the New Year.

So, off I go, pleae don't over-do your holiday plans and forget about yourself.

  • I will do my best to post regularly, if I need to disappear for a while, I'll let you know.
  • I plan to document how I go about re-structuring my days to include my studio time.
  • The newsletter post will continue as I have, no ads, no political commentary.
  • If you have Apple TV, you might enjoy Bad Sisters, sarcastic, humorous, a bit of murder and intrigue.
  • My current read; Meditations for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman, a day book that guides the reader with content from various sources. My Kindle, the 3rd one has 248 titles read, partially read, or waiting. I'll catch up and let you know. My current audiobook is Night Road by Kristin Hannah, just started it, had to put it on hold, I'll report back.
That's all for now, talk soon.
